You would never write "They occurred simultaneously at the same time" because simultaneously means at the same time. You could drop either one especially since they are of similar length.

I deliberately mispronounced restaurant for a long time until i could remember that the ‘au’ came before the ‘r’ instead of after. Actually, it kinda stuck. I still say it funny. Ell oh ell!
