What is your way of pronouncing the word "hubris"?

This is why dictionaries have a short pronunciation guide after the word.
However you also need to remember there's English, and then various colonial dialects that say things differently from standard, such as Australian, Canadian or American. So it's not always straightforward.
However in standard pronunciation "Hue-Briss" would be correct.
I don't know how it's supposed to be pronounced, but my initial thought was like "hoo-briss"/"who-briss"

I've NEVER heard anyone pronounce it "ha-bree." I didn't even know this existed. It's like the thing with "catsup," which people claim exists, but I've never heard it before.
Basic English pronunciation, never heard of the other version.
Who tf pronounces it "ha-bree"?
Don't forget about the motto "Injury is more easily forgotten than insult" because you insulted me there lad.
You'd better remember it too because your pronunciation is insulting
American way has no place in this post thread.
