Family I work with, particularly daughter and mother, ask personal qs. Haven't they got the hint that I'm not interested in them?
Obviously, if you're asking me all these questions, particularly personal ones, and I have no interest in asking you questions about you.. That means I'm not interested in getting to know you, I'm here to work , get my money, and go home. I've noticed they don't have any friends either.
The son I take care of stinks and is always sick. He's also a vegetable. Lol that's where their focus should be.

set the boundary clearly to them.
but also realise that they're not wrong for trying to make and enhance relationships with caregivers.
Asking surface level questions is totally different than asking personal qs. I'm there for the money, not them. It's clear, I express no interest in them lol. I just lie then they sit there waiting for me to ask them about them I don't they just get up and leave
missing the point but aight.
There's no point to be missed my personal life is my personal life.
never said it wasn't, you're just trolling at this point or being wilfully stubborn and obtuse.
hmmm interested in you how
For example, you work as a caretaker in a home. They ask you if you have a girlfriend, wife , kids, ask what you did over the weekends, who your friends are, why do you exercise. I lie then I do my job to get paid, they sit there looking stupid because I ask them nothing about themselves. I'm just not interested
They don't have friends which isn't my problem. I'm there to work and get paid
