Yeah I think doing a master's in accounting in the UK would be pretty straightforward if you've got the ACCA cert under your belt already. Here's a couple reasons why:
- ACCA is a really respected high-level qualification over there, so unis will recognize all the accounting knowledge and experience you've gained.
- A lot of the master's level classes will cover similar content that you've covered in your ACCA exams. So it shouldn't be entirely new material.
- You'll have developed great research, analytical and time management skills through ACCA that are super helpful for higher ed.
- Unis may let you skip some intro level classes since you're already very qualified accounting-wise. Fewer classes is easier!
- If any classes do feel repetitive, you can focus your efforts more on things ACCA didn't touch on as much.
I'm sure parts would still challenge you, but overall it seems the material and workload shouldn't be completely foreign. Going in with ACCA already makes things much more manageable. You've got this, girl! Just be confident in all you've already accomplished.
The best answer. Thanks a bunch! I got everything☺️🙏
No worries luv, happy I could help! Always good to offer a perspective from someone closer to your age I reckon. School stuff can be stressful enough as it is without worrying too much. You've totally got this with your ACCA already done, just go with your gut on the masters program. Feel free to hit me up if you need any other advice during the application process. Wishing you all the best, you'll smash it for sure!
How would anyone know? I would assume you aren't very bright based on the question so it would probably be difficult for you.
@jahaims So you think you are smart?
Nope, I'm just your average moron.
If you put the effort into it then will be easy.
