How do I do this?

How do I tell this guy that I like him? I've been around him for the whole year and slowly fell for him. There's so many things i like about him but we train the same sports together and I don't want to complicate things. His the same age as me (we both still teens) but comes off very shy. I don't want to embarrase myself by even thinking I stand a chance with him. He does know my name and we have spoke a small bit on Instagram but it isn't enough for me. I have a feeling that we would be so good together but don't want him to think I'm weird if I just tell him out of no where. We don't really talk much because his shy and he makes me really nervous so I kind of shut down... help with Tips please because the hints don't seem to be getting through to him but everyone else is noticing 🤦‍♀️
