Have you found a career you truly love and enjoy? How life changing has it been for you?
My dad was right, find a career you love?

Maybe you're getting paid well or at least enough to satisfy your bare necessities.
I didn't choose my primary specialty because you're so underpaid that I'd never have a financial independency.
You should choose a job that pays well so you can everything and it will give you freedom to pursue what you love too.
I’m just starting out and not making a lot of money but I love what I do, that makes a difference. Of course we always would love more money, and I do and hopefully as I gain experience that will come. I hope to one day open my own practice.
You’re right, a job that you love is like not having to work
Hell no.
Find a career you can tolerate. Emphasis on tolerate.
If you try getting paid for something you love, the compulsion to do it for money will completely ruin your enjoyment of it. NEVER let hobbies and jobs get mixed up.
if you can live off something you love... that might be a blessing, yes

most people work because they have to, not because they want to
unless you're trying to be the absolute best in the field and even then those people tend to be psycho compared to the rest
I have and I can say I would choose it again and again
What career are you going into?
