Growing up, what career were you told would fit you best? And what are you doing now?

Like when I was growing up, all my family would tell me to become a kindergarten or elementary school teacher... cause I'm good with kids. But I hate other people's kids and I hate watching after them lol
I still treat kids well and with respect, but I want to get away as soon as possible.

Now I'm an accountant haha

A few months ago, one friend said to me I should have become a psychologist and honestly I still would love to do that.
But I didn't have the grades and I didn't have the money to study that on a private university. Maybe one day I might earn enough to be able to pay for that.

I don’t recall anyone telling what think they I should do or anything but when I small, I considered Paleontology and Conga. Ultimately I chose Conga and I am honored, proud, and everything synonymous to be the World’s Greatest Conga Artist. Ex.

I also very proud of this tree. Imagine what Jahnazu’s tree Willa look like in the official book (s).

Everything is going great in production for both Yvridio Vaseilio and Legacy Tease2. The fourth movie has been confirmed to make its way into YouTube in probably about 20 or so years. Maybe a little less but definitely absolutely no time soon. I finally figured out what happens and what to show in SS3 after the Gendarus of Legacies fight the Autothots, “Bastas”, and Robonians. Still trying to figure out when Mesozoic Throne comes into the equation but I’m sure it Willa be fine.

Everyone just thought I was "smart" growing up and I guess assumed my career path would be beyond their imagination. It was a weird combination of being aloof, quiet, and figuring things out quickly that these days we'd probably just call "on the spectrum." but anyway now I'm an engineer.

Elementary teacher was recommended for me, too! I really like kids, so that's what I did.

Now when I was going through college and my clinical experiences, I preferred 3rd grade or older. My first teaching job was first grade. When I was reassigned to kindergarten, I thought I'd have a stroke but much to my surprise I love kinder best of all!

The kinders are so fun! Of course we have to get through our regular curriculum but then we do crafts and play. I can understand it not being for everyone, though. 🙂

A preschool teacher, artist or dance instructor (choreographer). I agree with you. I can't stand other peoples kids now. I still find em adorable from a distance but babysitting alone would be a nightmare. I rather have my own kids and raise them differently then how most have raised theirs. Kids these days are just awful at times

It was expected that I would go into the arts. My mother is an actress, my father a musician. I went to college studying theatrical lighting.

I am an executive in one company, own a media production company, and serve on the board of a theater.

I wanted to be a physicist, but I became a mechanical engineer.

Next election (next year) I am standing in politics so changing careers now and becoming more public facing.

It didn’t turn out too different as I knew I would eventually be a politician

I was told I'd be a veterinarian because I loved animals so much. I went to college and focussed on a psych degree instead. Graduated but I'm a dance instructor 😂

So basically I just ended up doing something completely different twice over.

I was told a mathematician or accountant. I was always great with math. Now I'm a mechanic some on the side (used to have my own shop) but mainly a tech at a production plant.

I was very narcissistic and power hungry and insecure growing up so everyone told me "lawyer" or "president of the U. S" I'm now a mechanic for volkswagen. I'm saving for a house though! :D

Something artistic. Not a career as such but I was a very quiet kid and i just liked to draw or build things. Ended up being an electrician
