Is this luggage perfect? It states 10kg is fine but I’m not sure.. since clothes is going to be heavier..
Not really much to give it's pretty easy. I just went to US by myself a couple months ago.
Would just say my mistake was be in the airport way before my flight it's really not needed. Showing up 2hrs early would be fine. Though airports really aren't that bad to be stuck in lol it's more the flight.
Oh this a good advice actually, if you are a smart spender check around every single place in there cause the price for the exact same thing can vary making it cheaper for just that extra 5min walk.
Granted I was in the airport for a long time so my view could be a bit bias, but in my view a airport may seem big but it's small really with just how easy it is to get around.
In Chicago there was a guy selling dumbly expensive popcorn $25 for a tub and no for sure wasn't big to like of what I can get in a bag for under a $1 here, but this guy was selling 600ml pop for $1 which every other store there drinks were ya know $3 and up.
But anyway, just take the things ya need. And the security mostly aren't going to be fussed. They typically don't treat you like a criminal.
Also honestly they are very bad at their job lol. Wouldn't risk ya know hardcore illegal stuff but minor things they for sure just let pass. It's just kinda subjective to whom inspects it. I had no issue with my Vape stuff yet I knew myself I had more than I should, I was expecting someone to go alright you need to dump this amount.
What actually happened was just some double checked it while others completely ignored it. Also it's really odd how no one checks your bags when you get off the plane. I see that as highly dumb but was lucky for me who happily snuck something that's illegal in England yet not in America which ya can just buy when already in the airport.
Tbf it's nothing serious and something I could easily back up to just ignorance and not knowing that is banned in Uk.
When you get off the plane you are just free to leave. It's very odd to me and don't seem secure at all.
Just put all the liquids in the luggage you check in then you can take your normal shampoo. And the electronics stuff put it in your carry on. Be there early but it depends on the airport. Some are fast to get through others take for ever so once you figure out which ones are good you can take it a bit easier with the extra time. Yeah check the weight. For the start go to a country that's safe and easy to get around and then later when you're experienced you can go to more challenging places or when you know someone there it always helps as well.
Enjoy the trip :)
They weigh your luggage and if your carry on is too heavy, you have to register it so they can put it inside the airplane.
Also if you are scared of airplanes, come sleep deprived so you can spend your entire airplane ride sleeping in the event of turbulence.
I avoid eating fibre 36 hours before my flight to minimize washroom breaks cause they might seat you next to a window where it’s hard to get out of your seat.
Eating keto on the day of your ride might remove your hunger if your meal gets delayed. I prefer coke to water cause coke is less likely to lead to washroom breaks since the body is slower to process it.
I know people that who eat junk food on purpose cause it takes longer to digest so they are less likely to get hungry between meals. Bring a pad for note taking so if you are forced to move your luggage to a new spot, you remember where it is.
i've been traveling my whole life. go on your first trip with someone who is very experienced and trustworthy and just follow them around and have fun. on your second trip you'll know what you want and need

For your carry on, take one change of clothes and some types of food that you like, such as whatever type of nuts, cereal bars, beef jerky, etc. Especially if you are a picky eater. Also, check if you are allowed to bring medicine. If you are, bring pain killers and cold medicine that works for you just in case. Bring some cash, and write down contact information ro keep with you of important people instead of relying on just a phone's memory.
Check what the plug ins will be like where you are going and get adapters from Bestbuy.
If you are travelling to main resorts/cities why bother taking shampoo/conditioner etc as you can buy what you need there? I've got used to travelling light on summer vacations usually with just cabin/carry on bag, and multi use items like a bar shampoo/soap, and don't over do taking clothes with you as you can always buy what you need when you get to resorts/cities. As for getting through airport security checks go to your countries airport websites and you can download a list of items that you cannot take with you, and I believe that the quantity of liquids that you can take on planes. Take your own snacks & water/ water bottle as EVERYTHING in airports are overpriced. If you have checked luggage have a change of clothes and a basic hygiene kit in your carry on just in-case your checked luggage goes missing
make sure all of your carry on items are legal size. bring an empty refillable water bottle and protein bars in case you get stuck at the airport. Airport food is expensive.
Dress comfortably. Planes are not cold, and there's not a lot of room to get up and take off jackets, sweaters, etc.
Bring somethign to read on the plane and in the airport.
Being too early to the airport is better than rushing.
If you check a bag, tie a scarf or piece of colored duct tape around the handle to set it apart from similar pieces of luggage.
If you're on vacation, know your surroundings. Research crime, street scams, pickpockets, etc.
Something very important is knowing where to avoid, as every country you go to has them.. Have you researched the good and bad areas of where you're travelling to?
Keep your passport on you at all times. Sign up for travel insurance. Make sure you have more money than you actually need, more is always better than not enough.
Have a hidden wallet that has most stuff in it and another wallet/purse with a little local cash and old canceled credit cards with different numbers than any current ones. This way if you get robbed you do not lose much.
Fuck the luggage! You want advice on travel? DON'T EVER STOP! EVER!! DONT DO TOURISTY PACKAGED TRIPS! GO ROGUE! DISCOVER! EXPLORE! REVEL IN IT!!
Depends where you’re traveling to.
But in general, keep things simple.
Watch a few yt vids of someone traveling through the airport so you see what happens at checkin and security
Why are you asking us? Ask the people you're going to see or traveling with
I’m travelling alone…
Why are you traveling alone? What about the people you're going to see?
I’m travelling alone because it’ll be my first time and I don’t really have anyone to travel with so… Travelling on my own ha ha
So you're backpacking?
Sit in the aisle seat. Near the first few rows. Wear something comfortable not fancy. Wear moisturiser flights dry your skin real bad.
I agree. Sitting in aisle seat makes it easier to go to the restroom when they need to
Travel with your family they know what to do. Don’t travel by yourself.
Use Google Maps instead.
