Nope it is the other way round, men are oppressed. They are more likely to be homeless, commit suicide, be homeless, be unemployed and be in poor health. They lose out in divorce, custody and get longer sentences for comparable crimes. In fact men get longer if their victim is female and women get shorter sentences if their victims are male.

Women are more judgmental in relationship criteria, and men are still expected to maintain their gender roles. Men also have no say in abortion of their child, get falsely accused and the woman gets believed. They also have no rights over their own child.

they aren't and they never were. maybe in some muslim countries they always were and still are but not in the west. the fact that they even are allowed to speak openly about their "supposed oppression" is proof that they aren't opressed. cause if they were, there weren't allowed to say that.

I don't think women in the west are oppressed at all, some women act like they do to be a victim. However there still exists some oppression in less developed countries and Muslim countries.

Both men and women are oppressed in the modern world. This flies under the radar because people think of "the world" as, their vicinity and the only places they personally care about most the time.

Oppression is very location based.

Be it women being stoned to death for dressing skimpy.

Or be it men being blackmailed with false accusations.

It happens to both sexes across the world everywhere.
