What were some good clubs or activities you got involved with in college?

We had a load of different ones. Some were focused on sports and fitness, some just chilling out. Some on learning different stuff, some just having a laugh.
i did some of the following
Mountain Biking (included mountain bike lead qualifications so you could plan expeditions and also maintenance)
Archery - trying different types. I settled on Recurve, Barebow and Long bow, however I tried various types.
Running club
Rugby
5 a side football aka soccer
Then there are ones such as Saxon, Viking clubs https://www.cambridgesu.co.uk/organisation/cuasncsociety/
drinking, chatting and axes 🪓
some have acting clubs, including comedy clubs.
Personally join some core ones that you like and friends like, then just try different ones out.
Over here some are just excuses to party n have fun,
I avoided all the political orientated ones, as they had mainly weird fuckwits in them.
INot sure if the question is based on curiousity as far as what there’s to do in college but here is my recollection. I the founder of all kinds of shenanigans in college but the coolest one I regret is never going to our campus observatory (was a huge telescope building pointing to the sky)
🥲😞
Joined a smash mario party club for a night, it was a super wild smash party
Went with friends/classmates to grab $1 mcchickens for lunch frequently before our study sessions
Spent more of my time in tutoring than my whole time in classes and work combined 😅🥲🤣
long-boarded around campus every day of the week as well as in oarking garages and rode the lime scooters and bikes everywhere too
a little bit of campus cat and mouse/ karaoke where we would jump in the car and just blast music singing obnoxiously as we circle around the parking lot chasing each other with our singing🤣
And one of the last ones was made through a group chat we had for everyone at the campus to go to board game nights (fun too)
The other activities involved card games and drinking or smoking, pregaming, tailgating, and exploring different labs and buildings around the campus during off hours
Cultural, community services, dance, & almost sports but never fit my schedule. I was also in Greek. There’s a ton of fun ones depending on your interests and what you want to explore :)
Umm we didn't have that.
I just played DnD with a group of friends 😅

Student Government.
In 1992, I was in graduate school and, in the spring, there are elections for student government. One such position is a graduate student representative on the Student Council. I was elected to one of 3 of those positions but didn't even know I was running!
I got 4 votes from my buddies who voted for me on write-in ballots and didn't tell me about it. That was enough to be elected since, generally, grad students don't care or have time for stuff like this so they don't run and they don't vote.
I accepted my victory but it didn't last long. I had to resign because I left school for a job in Los Angeles.
Depends on where your interests lie, and what your purpose of joining that club/organization. Are you looking to meet people/socialize? Professional development/mentoring? Etc.
never went to college.
I went to a tech school to learn about trucks.
Basically what we did was going across the railroad tracks and going to the bar.
It was a stand-up bar, no bar stools, and beers were 15 cents for a short glass.
By the end of the night those tracks seemed to get really tall.
And we would hit the restaurants that had cheap specials.
In college - we had parties, beers, organized sailboat races every now and then.
But my main activity was - well - studying?
I was on the intramural volleyball team, the Stage Crew (such as it was), and played intramural Table Tennis. I DO wish I would have gotten involved in band in HS, probably drums.
I wouldn't know, I got kicked out of high school and never continued my education but I hear college mfs be wylin 😂
What did you do? 😭😭😭
Threatened a kid with a gun and he snitched, they called the cops and the cops couldn't find the gun so they left but the school gave us two options, we drop out or they kick us out, I'm not really sure there's a difference but maybe there is
Chris, I should smack you. 😔
It was beef shit tho, to be fair I could've shot him
You weren’t Christian then, huh? 🤔
I believed but believe was basically all I did, I didn't follow the teachings of anything, until God gave my whole group a vision on the same night about the same thing, that's when we knew we had to change our ways.
*pat pat* 😌
Don't pat my head, only I pat heads 😂
Boi pls 😌
