When will AI take my job I am so afraid?

- I am a receptionist at the tourism hotels
- I am 31 years old
- I will be retired at 65 years old
- and AI is being improved exponentially day by day very fastly
- I am afraid I will lose my job anytime soon or I can not work at this business for 30+ years more

There are ways to actually control a negative feeling. I have learned to postpone it.
When/if it happens, it happens.
You will deal with it when it does. It can also help if you think of the additional steps to do in case it happens.
It can give you a sense of comfort if you do so.
For example if my job is ever replaced with AI (which will probably happen) , I have already thought of the steps I will take and I am already working on learning skills that will be necessary for another job field that is sort of relevant to what I am doing now.
Don't allow your fear to paralyze you is what I am trying to say. Instead control it and use it as a fuel that will make you work on yourself to be more productive and learn more, instead of being idle.

TLDR: Think logically and use that feeling to push yourself to adapt. Experiencing the fear on its own and constantly allowing stress to feed off your fear spiral, won't help you. Instead, controlling it will aid you.

Don't be. Smart folks are the ones who adapt and learn HOW AI applies to their jobs and what AI's shortcomings are so they become the human monitor for the AI generated content...

The only persons who need to be afraid of AI ''competition'' are those who:

- don't perform in their profession

- have no significant profession anyway

- and lack creativity in keeping alternatives open.

Judge for yourself where you stand :)
