It had always been my dream and ambition to become a policewoman, but sadly due to a medical condition this was not possible... However I was encouraged to look at other opportunities within the police force, and ultimately studied and qualified as a forensic scientist within the police authority.

8 moCurrently unemployed because I’m now a stay at home mom, but my I chose my last job because it was extremely easy to get. I didn’t have to apply for it or go through an interview, my partners boss was desperate for employees and my partner put in a good word for me. I started working a week later. It was a great environment to work in and simple work.

Definitely how much I loved it. I make pretty good off if it though. But it's definitely for the love of it.

Growing up I always wanted to be in the modeling and fashion industry. I did some modeling in college and graduated with a business degree thinking that I will be working in the model and fashion industry. I ended up marrying a pastor, became a pastor’s wife, had three kids, and served in church ministries. I went back to school and got my master in education and now teaching. If I can start all over again, I will not get married and make my dream come true.

"Did you choose your current job or line of work because of how much you would earn or because you loved it?"
I'm one of the lucky ones because the answer is both. It worked out very well for me. The problem is I love it so much I can't stop! I don't need to work anymore but I'm addicted.

I picked my career because I loved raising my little sister… I was clueless and didn’t know anything about it or the benefits that come with the job. More than 20 years later… I still love ❤️ it!!

When I see that potential in earnings, I will not cease until I achieve.
And, when I'm succeeding, I'm loving every moment of it.

With the proper, careful guidance of my brilliant father, I played & won big in the stock markets since I was young.
My stock market earnings afforded me the opportunity to repeatedly invest in real estate where I continue to shine to this day.
The "empire" is larger and more diverse now and, fortunately, is able to be an economy on it's own.

Nope you’re good! I was just curious how people are working in this economy and all. Like the question I’m wondering which people prioritize if there even is a multiple options and variation or if it’s just one over the other and stuff like that. The mindsets people have on college journeys and on and on. Sorry if I seemed I don't know doubtful/ cynical/ or something or hostile. Just curious! Apologies if I came off in any wrong manner. 🙏 and thanks for your contribution to the post 😊
I choose this job, so I can get some experience. Otherwise I don't like this job and not enough money

Hard to say. It's a little of both. I will say I've always valued satisfaction over profit motive. Life is simply to short to be unhappy. And I just don't need the money that badly anymore.

You choose a job for money. You choose a career love; it’s a calling.
