History and sciences. I'm the kind of dork that either has his t. v. tuned to the history or science channel whenever I'm not just vegging watching a movie.

In college I took this finance course (largely considered just a pushover elective to improve my GPA). But that really kicked off a lifetime interest in investing for me. It's one of those things that you never master and are always tweaking it because the variables are always changing.

And if you're going to ask me to give investing advice, no.🤣 At least not beyond save and live below your means. Over the years I've found those two to be the single most significant factors for success (at least for me).

I like that which I study these days, as a retired old guy.

That subject is music theory.

The incredible mixture of science, history, and everything else that has brought about the system that Western music uses today is almost unbelievable once one has knowledge of how it has come to its present form.

I had a class in grad school called Management of Technical Innovation. The professor was really good and I enjoyed the class project that I did which was these devices that would use the movement of the tides to generate electricity.
