Anyone glad the kids are back at school or will be shortly?

I don't associate with kids, so it flies under the radar. I don't think I even processed my niece having a summer job last year and then it stopping when school started, then getting it again this summer. I guess I knew it ended, but mostly because pools aren't open in the winter where we are. On the off chance it's above freezing, it's still too cold to want to be wet. So, lifeguards aren't needed all year round unless it's an indoor pool. Even then most people who would use it during the school year are in swim classes or retired.

Some of my female contacts have kids and are hard to get a hold of in the summer months. Not sure if that will change when the kids go back to school but it might.

Traffic is a bitch now so no not really. I guess if I had kids I would probably be saying the opposite but I don't have any so I'm not really glad their back in school.

Meh. Took mine out to homeschool. Don't have to worry about that crap anymore. No school runs. No term times. No uniforms. We going off to Corfu soon and no school to say we can't lol

It is nice to be retired and not have to deal with school busses anymore.

Selfishly, no. It has greatly increased my travel times when I go to my office or go to meet clients.
