Is the most useful language to learn other than English?

Im thinking of learning Spanish like Spain Spanish because I think it sounded cool also because there are many Spanish speakers on the world but also Chinese Mandarin because of businesses/trades. I can try to learn both but not sure which one I should try first.

Well, I studied both Mandarin, French, and Spanish in school. Out of those three I only learned Mandarin and French. French is easier to learn. I enjoyed Mandarin the most though. I had a good teacher for Mandarin.

I guess just go with the one you feel like will help you in your current walk in life. 😊

Depends on what you want. if you want to do business in south america Spanish would be best unless you work with Brazil and than Portuguese. French will serve you well in many places especially in some parts of Asia and large swabs of Africa. If your doing business with east Europe than Russian is a good choice. If your doing business with central Europe than German would be better. If you already know Latin based languages than learning other Latin based languages would be easier, English is a semi Latin semi Germanic language so learning Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Italian will be relatively easy for you, much more than unrelated languages such as Russian, Japanese, or Mandarin (Chinese).
