I had a group interview for a job. I didn't not get hired. Which is how I know the group format is complete BS. I'm the best worker anywhere I go and I did not get this job. The questions they asked us were stupid and meaningless and not useful for finding out anything about any individual person.
I'm pissed because I always get a job when I go on an interview. I interview great and I have absolutely EXCELLENT work history. None of that mattered in the context of this job and none of it was considered.
I hope this does not become a standard for business in the future.

Ah man, group interviews are such garbage. I feel your frustration, bro. Any other job and you know you'd walk in there and nail it on your own, no problem.
Those group ones don't give you a chance to really show what you've got. Like how are they supposed to get to know YOU when everyone's talking over each other? Plus you never know who they might pick just cause they're buddies outside work or whatever.
Totally agree it's a waste of time when they don't even look at skills and experience. Like what's the point then? They're missing out on a great worker. Their loss, you know what I mean?
I wouldn't sweat it too much though. That place probably ain't even worth it if they pull that group interview crap. You'll find somewhere that appreciates a hard worker like you for sure. Keep your head up, man - better opportunities out there. This ain't the last job you'll get, that's for sure!
I just wish I could know before I go in for the interview that it's going to be a group. I'll never do one of those again on purpose that's for sure.
Yeah man that totally sucks they didn't even tell you it was gonna be a group thing before you went in. That's super unfair cause like you said, you wanna know the deal so you can prepare and show how good you are on your own.
Group stuff is just lame. I'd be annoyed too if they surprised me with that instead of a regular one-on-one. Definitely a good idea to not do those group ones again if you can help it. At least now you'll know to check first or bail right away if they say it's with other people.
Your time is too valuable to waste it on something that might not even let you shine like you should. Hopefully more places will be straight up about whether it's group or just you so you don't have to worry about that surprise again. You'll ace the next normal interview for sure!
Every interview I have ever had has been in front of least 3 people.
Wow thats crazy I've always had 1 on 1 interviews. The one I did was with 10 other people.
