1, grass that was wide was trampled repeatedly but thin ones had more "misses" as people or dinosaur tails dragged by, so those survived. only wide leaves if elevated. 1b not dna' just the wide died out. only thin lived.

Ahhh I actually know a little about the first two. Processors have things called logic gates and there's a limited number of types. But you can modulate the electrical impulses that feed into the processor in such a way that you're basically doing algebra. There's videos that explain it fairly good.

As for your keyboard, that's a little more simple. Your keyboard has a small chip in it which is set up to digitize the analog signal from keystrokes.

there's multiple ways to wire it up but basically the keys are wired in a matrix. So rows and columns like a city grid. Then one of the pins on the chip is usually going to be the "clock" which there's all sorts of clever stuff you you can do with that. A clock is essentially a repeating signal that is generated so that you can, in this case differentiate one signal from another.

Think about a car driving down a city grid. If you know how fast the car is driving and you know which avenue it started on then you can calculate which street intersection it started on by introducing the clock.

You can even use the clock to allow multiple keystrokes at once and wire multiple rows and columns into individual pins on the chip since there's a limited number of inputs on these chips usually.

Then the chip assigns a value to that keystroke. So you hit the "F" key and it will spit out a number in binary code. It might be 18. USB already uses a clock so in that "cycle" of the clock it will send one keystroke at a time if it's an 8 bit signal. The clock speed is usually thousands of times per second on the slow side.
