I prefer working from home online. All the "socializing with colleagues" for a healthy life seems forced. I have a social life. I just don't find colleagues to be "friends". This is something I've been very vocal about at my work that I don't consider colleagues to be friends. You talk to them one day, the next day either they're laid off or switching jobs. And they're gone. I'd much rather go to college reunions and catch up with old pals and socialize with them. Work is work. I prefer keeping my private life separate from my professional life. And working online is great for me. If it can be done remotely, I'd prefer it be done remotely
