Who else feels lucky to work remotely?

sometimes I think about those poor saps who actually have to go into an office. Sounds terrible. I can’t imagine living like that anymore.

It's a mixed bag, but it has its advantages.

by far the biggest downside is it’s really bad socially. I mean you can do things on your own and then you get complacent and decide not to. Why is it a mixed bag for you?

Yeah, all social activity stops. Coffee breaks, lunch, bar visits, movie theater...

I mean, you can force yourself into these social situations, but you also know you don’t have to

You would have to force your colleagues too, as per usual the majority is remote.

I agree 100%. I couldn't imagine having to sit in traffic to be uncomfortable in an office all day.

my kids "work" from home. I do not know how the companies they work for stay in business.

I did for three years and it was great.

My employer asked us to return to the office.
