I've been at my job for two years.
I'm on the verge of quitting, I can't stand it any more.
Have you quit your job and still got a reference from them?

I have quit a part time job but I had 2 Other jobs and did not care.
I'm considering quitting my only job right now. I have been with them 2 years and I'm sick of getting the crap shifts and I have started making mistakes and getting warnings and could even get fired soon.
In all honesty I loved that job but I just don't care anymore I can't live off 10 hours max a week and have no hope of anymore hours. but at least it's something.
I wasn't going to get the best references from the manager anyway but I can still use the ex manager. I hope so anyway he got fired.
Look for a job before you quit. When you leave smile and tell them you found something that was a good opportunity. Don’t burn bridges if you can avoid it.
Yeah. So far I was lucky enough to never get fired. I left when I felt like I had to, or when there was a better job opportunity.

References are useless and if that's what's holding you back you're wasting your time
In my country, everyone who gets a new job, needs at least two references. A different one from the two previous jobs you've had. How do you get out of it? I'd quit tomorrow.
I have. I know someone who did this recently though and they got caught out. They couldn't get hold of the referee on his mobile and they rang the company wanting to ask him something. He said he never gave her a reference and hasn't heard from this person since she left. That's what I'm nervous about if I do that.
Yes , I had quit my job a lot of time
