I’m having a really hard time choosing which jobs to go with.
I’m currently working a full time and part time job everyday. No days off whatsoever.
First job I put in 40 hours a week at $14
Partime I’m putting 16 hours a week at $12
So I’m bringing home 2500 after tax
$2500-$1774(rent, bills, etc) = $818 in spending money.
Of course I love having the extra income, but I’m really exhausted mentally and feel like I’m getting burned out. Besides I want to leave my PT job.
The new job I’m considering to go for is a full time job Monday-Friday @ $16
My checks would probably be around $1029-$1106 biweekly
$1029x 2 = $2058
$2058- $1609 (bills, rent, subscriptions) = $449
Only $449 to spend.
That’s like $370 pay cut,
I honestly can’t afford the pay cut but I’m too mentally exhausted to carry on with the 2 jobs.
What would you do?
Sorry if my math isn’t corrected, I’ve been thinking about this alll day

AskBalancing financial needs with mental health is vital. Consider the long-term impact of burnout on your well-being. If the extra money compromises your health and happiness, a slight pay cut for weekends off might be worthwhile. Look for ways to reduce expenses or find side gigs that aren't as demanding to supplement income. Additionally, explore career advancements in the new job for future financial growth. Remember, personal well-being can enhance productivity and lead to better opportunities in the long run.
