Why is the Coast Guard looked down on by most the other branches of military?

I know that every branch has a rivalry between one another but it can seem that they genuinely look down on the Coast Guard.

I would say most people in the Coast Guard do more then the people who sit behind a desk or serve food. Not bashing those people either but I’m just saying those tend to be the ones

lol Yeah, other than pilots, and PJ's/AF Special Forces, the other branches refer to the Air Force as the Chair Force.

Yeah I would say that’s more accurate many of them work behind desks. Nothing wrong with that lol but if they act like they’re better then someone else

I respect the Coast Guard. They save lives and they defend our country should be ever be attacked by sea.
