Girls, Could I go into male modeling?

So I'm trying to pursue obtaining a CDL class a license so that I can become a truck driver, but when I was talking to this cashier at the store the other day about career choices and she told me I should look into modeling. So was just wanting to know the opinion of some people here.

It depends on the brand and if they’re looking specifically for POC rep. Modeling is a job that’s incredibly hard on you physically to maintain a specific physical standard, but also mentally because you will hear your potential employers absolutely rip into you for everything they can find: your nose is too big, your hair is too short, your curls are wrong, your jaw isn’t the right shape, and that’s just in your face. I doubt criticism about your appearance is a novel experience as a man, but hearing it said constantly, repeatedly, and then not getting the job? You’d hate yourself, and you’d find yourself hating and doing everything to change those flaws that you think got you pulled from the job. Also, modeling isn’t really much in terms of pay. If you want money, you’d make more driving trucks.

Hmm, see I didn't know all that. Sounds like too much stress than what it's worth. Especially if you don't really get paid that well. I thought models got paid good money.

The glamorous jobs always seem rich and fabulous, but the truth is half of the industry is broke and just renting. This goes for music too

I feel like I've heard that about the rap industry in particular. You would think most of them were balling out of control, just rolling in the dough. But apparently a lot of rappers are struggling to keep their head above water.

Well I have been starting to work out more so I'll burn off that belly fat in no time flat. How much would you say I should trim my eyebrows though?

Well your brows seem kinda thick so remove hairs either from the top or the bottom with a razor. Also shorten the long hairs so that they will stay in shape. You should buy an eyebrow razor, a normal fine-tooth comb and scissors. Tweezers hurt and aren't going to help.
