How long does it take you to get caught up after getting back to work?

After you get back from being gone for whatever reason (vacation, traveling for work, etc.), how long does it usually take you to get caught up with work, projects at home, and so forth?

I got back to work on Thursday after being gone for a week. I was pretty well caught back up by the end of the day.

Rarely need to, I plan ahead as far as possible and have a chat with the boss before leaving,,,

Really just as a reminder of what I actually do all day lol,,,

Last thing I want to have to do when I get back is catch up on top of daily work,,,

When I was in sales if I was gone for a week there would be a weeks worth of work piled up. It would take a week to get caught up

I don't know, but I will find out next month after I have my first holiday in 3 years. I am sure going back to work won't be easy.
