There is definitely a gender pay gap, but not for the reasons feminists claim. It exists simply because men and women have different priorities and make different choices.

Men choose different professions, and do so based on earning potential, whereas women tend to choose a profession most based on other factors. For that reason, most of the highest paying professions are dominated by men while most of the lowest paying ones are dominated by women.

Men on average work significantly longer hours than women.

Professional women tend to do well early in their careers but then often leave the workforce at the peak of their career success because their priorities change. They may decide to start a family, or they often just decide the stress of their jobs isn't justified. And for most of those women their is a safety net in the form of a husband who has a successful career, so those women can either stop working or take a part time or less stressful job that will allow them to focus more on raising a family while the man continues to tail on the workforce and be the primary breadwinner.

Men have no such safety net, and therefore doing have the luxury of not having a successful career. Whereas women have multiple paths to happiness in married life, men have only one, which is to be a successful provider.

Those are the real reasons behind the gender pay gap.

Do men, collectively, make more money than women do? Of course. But when you factor in them working more difficult or dangerous jobs, longer hours, more overtime, etc., it evens out.

The notion of a woman doing the same job as a man, at the same level of performance and hours worked, at the same amount of experience and time with the company, and being paid less for it, is Feminist nonsense. What slight discrepancy there is is due to being less assertive in salary negotiations, not sexism.

Yes but only because men work more hours, pursue better paid jobs, pursue promotions, do more overtime and are willing to switch companies or move away if more money is involved. I know plenty of well educated women who take a job they are often over qualified for because they don't have to work too hard, thd hours are easy and it's local to them over a better paid job they have to work more hours and is further away.

There is, and there isn't.

Yes, men generally make more than women, but not due to sexism. Men typically work more strenuous, or more dangerous jobs, which consequently pay more.

Men also, generally, work more hours, and more overtime than women, which also leads to higher overall pay than women.

If there really were a gender pay gap that was based around simply paying women less for the same job, employers would exclusively hire women, just so they could pay them less, and save money.

There's way too much evidence to deny the gender pay gap, unfortunately. Even so much that it's a well-studied thing that whenever a work field changes from being male-dominated to female-dominated the pay rates suddenly go DOWN even tho it is literally the SAME WORK. Teachers & nurses for example. It's very obvious & dumb. Wish we would just stop that.
