Probably about a year and a half ago I called it my cable people and I told him to cancel it I didn't want it anymore all I wanted was the internet and my landmine home phone they said we were being recorded I said great well every month after for another year it kept sending me a bill I took the boxes out I put them in my car taken back to spectrum but I could never get away because I was taking care of my mother at the time but they charged me for over a year and they told me that I had to go in to the office and tell the people in there no you take my money right here you're going to turn it off right here you can turn it on right here so why can't you turn it off because it's a big f****** scam but it's like that with everything if there's a loophole they're going to pull it

And even if you tell them not to sell it I guarantee it they're selling it

We've had our own problems with that company too they are a piece of work. With us they were claiming we have equipment, that we've never hooked up... (because we didn't have it) but need to return it or be charged. It was probably someone who works for them five finger discounting and marking our account. Craziness.

I bet you're exactly right too yeah I had talked to four or five different people and when they say you're going to be on a recorded line and I would say well thank you and I would say the same thing over again turn it off I'm not going to pay for it I had the boxes they could see that it wasn't even hooked up because I had the boxes out of my vehicle

They have made tons because I don't even think they're regulated they sent a collection agent after me and I told the collection agency to go f*** themselves that what they were doing is against the law and I will sue them if they f****** make another phone call to me well they never made another phone call and then I told spectrum I have never ever cheated or ripped off anybody I said we have it in writing exactly what was said and what was it said I said here's the deal I'll pay you your f****** money but it's going to be on my terms when I want to I said because I'm handing you guys over $2,000 for free and I said and you know that is true and they said no when you canceled you had to go into the office and sign the papers I said that's not what was said when I canceled the cable they said they would turn it off right then I told them that the boxes were out in my truck and I would get them as soon as I could get them over there I would that see if my mom had Alzheimer's dementia and I couldn't just leave and while all this was going on I had ordered two of their phones and they were supposed to have them shipped to me on a Friday and they never even showed up and I paid for them right then but from what I understand they do it to quite a few people
