What were you like in high school?

I started high school (10th grade at age 15) in the fall of 1969, the year of Woodstock.

I was a surfer and skateboarder so I had surfer friends. I also played guitar and immediately fell in with the hippie clique.

I got a car and my first girlfriend in 10th grade.

By 11th grade, I was a good lead guitarist and was the guitarist and lead vocalist in a popular garage band. By then I was growing my hair out and was kind of rebellious.

I gained some musician friends who were into blues and rock.

Lots of people knew me and I had quite a few friends.

We went to a rock concert about once a week or at least every two weeks.
I was very active, surfing, snow skiing, playing frizbee and sports, backpacking when I had time, and going on adventures.

I didn't take high school very seriously. I skipped classes occasionally to get high and party with friends.

Fortunately, I didn't get into any trouble. Things weren't as up tight back then.

By the time I graduated in 1972, my hair was past my shoulders and I had a rock star persona.

I was glad to get out of high school but immediately enrolled part time at community college. I enjoyed that for the most part.

I was a fat kid that started working out in 9th grade and lost weight and got in shape. I was still the same angry loner I was and would not have anything to do with high school except to get out.

9th grade: the nerdy preppy nice quiet but also simultaneously class clown girl, who would do delinquent shit on the side

10th: the unpopular quiet fat girl

11th-12th: the nice goth girl in the back of the class, that doesn't care about school and isn't always exactly sober

Outgoing, fairly popular, I got a long with and hung out with most groups, I was a cheerleader, I made good grades, I partied sometimes lol, a little rebellious l, very adventurous.

Very much to myself. Pretty much a loner and nerdy. A bit of a Plain Jane because I didn't wear makeup or designer clothing like a lot of the girls wore. I was an honor roll student and was in the book club.
