What’s was the best and the worst job that you’ve had, and why?

I had part time jobs from the time I was 15.
At one point, when I was maybe 20, I got laid off from a job at a school district, so I applied for unemployment.
I milked that for almost a year and had the best time surfing, snow skiing, backpacking, going on adventures and partying.
They finally called me in and a worker sat me down to go through job options. They weren't going to take no for an answer.
They talked me into taking a job painting vacant apartments. I hated it and wasn't nearly as fast as the Mexicans who worked there.
I was only there for a couple of weeks before they let me go.

I turned right around and got a decent job in the shipping department of a warehouse. I kind of liked that job even though it was a bit of a drive and the pay wasn't great.

Best: loving my wife best job. not necessarily a job, but a wonderful adventure in life! I hope for much more rewarding adventures as we share in the abudance we have with others, and eternally.

worst: working for an emotionally abusive lying boss. there's' nothing quite like being "gas lighted" at work, I don't wish that on anymore. Howevrer, it appears to be standard practice.

I think this was the worst day of any job I've ever worked, not quite what you're asking but it's kind of a crazy story. I worked for an airline at a small regional airport when I took a year of college. There was this wheelchair basketball tournament in town one weekend, and that meant that the flights were packed with athletes competing. The thing is, the laws or policies of the airline stated that wheelchairs always take priority in cargo. Now each athlete had 2 wheelchairs, their normal chair and their game chair. So as each flight arrived, there were zero bags on the flight, and an entire cargo hold filled with wheelchair frames and wheels stacked up and nothing else. We had to bring it all out to the end of the wing for people to figure out which wheels go with which frames and then fill out missing bag reports for everyone on the flight... for every flight... all day/night long maybe a dozen or so that day like that.

The best job I had was when I worked for a major IT Tech company. I was a lab engineer. I maintained a lab facility that had demos of all their products that was used mostly for sales demonstrations and proof of concept. I learned a lot about computer networks and made a lot of money.

Guarding the Chinese restaurant in a crowded outdoor shopping mall all the people from the bar were parking in front of the restaurant taking away their business so I dressed up 1950 style security guard uniform with a billy club and blue pants on and ran them all off. lol it didn’t last very long the manager of the Plaza had to get involved and they put a stop to everything

The best jobs have either been the adjunct professor position I had over the summer teaching a general biology class at a local college or a summer class I taught for talented and gifted students in junior high school at the same college.
