I personally couldn't handle being a special ed teacher. It’s sad to see but it also brings back the trauma of elementary days where the schools would let the special needs children run wild and beat up the “normal” kids. We were shook with how badly they slobbed on us and kicked our asses in K-6th. The teachers didn't even try to hold them back. They’d just tell us that we weren't allowed to hit back. I am not saying this in a laughing manner. It was truly traumatizing. My little sister had tubes in her ear as a baby and one got stuck deep down and affected her hearing. So she was placed in one of those classes and I used to cry at the thought of having to go retrieve her from one of those classes after school.

I also could not be a speech teacher because i tend to pick up others stutter and lisp in conversation. Its not in a mocking way. Just an unfortunate habit that affects my speech for the remainder of the day. Same happens if i speak to someone from London or somewhere.

As for other disabilities, I have helped teach children who have dyslexia and reading disabilities and so on. That i could do
