Let's say you meet someone and they told you, I'm a high school drop out, or only have a GED, or they graduated college with honors. For you personally, does this matter? Would you treat them differently based on their answer. Would you assume they were more or less educated? Do you think school/no school/more school should factor into job success or viability?

To put it another way... I have a BS in Accounting and I won't even put that shit in a job application because it just makes me look stupid. I'm ashamed of it now even though I did that shit years ago when college still meant more than going into debt for some bullshit that you'll never even get a job for. I did the time in the military and paid for it that way, so no debt like a retard, but still... I wasted my time doing that shit. I should of just done trade schools like carpentry, electrician, or a plumber. But no... I have a Bachelors in Science on how to get replaced by AI.

Experience will always trump education. Plenty of educated fucks out there that can't even do their own field of research. I watch Doctors write down my symptoms and then hop on WebMD right in front of me and they went to school for like ever. All that school and they might know bullshit like who invented the stethoscope, but they barely know how to use one.

My advice to a young one would be... don't even think about college for that unless you're already doing that job and it has become a requirement. The job will send you to school for it just to retain you and they'll pay for it. If you pay out of pocket for school... you're a fucking retard. One of those high-functioning retards, but still a fucking retard.

And, yes, I do "pre-form" ideas about them based on their level of education. If someone's a high school dropout, I'll probably not assume they're familiar with certain concepts or references that many undergraduates may know e. g. Pavlov's Dogs.

Likewise, if I'm speaking to a PhD in economics, I'm not going to ask if they're familiar with the term "elasticity of demand" and I'm just going to speak about it assuming they know what I'm talking about.

Education doesn't make someone smart outside of what they've studied and it doesn't mean you're an inherently better person. But education is a good and noble thing in-and-of-itself. I respect others who take the time and effort to complete degrees. Also people who aren't as well educated are often more susceptible to intellectual manipulation and that can be dangerous.

yes. When I find that someone has a masters or Phd, I automatically have a higher baseline of respect for them. If you work at waffle house, make 8 dollars an hr, can't pay rent, have 5 baby mamas, I would have less respect for you.

Your achievements in life show A LOT about you. Being educated is not only about having knowledge, it also shows you are capable of hard work, persistence, resilience. There are plenty of people out there who are too lazy to better themselves and just try to survive off the bare minimum.

It's not what someone says they are, it's how they present themselves. I might fully disagree with a persons stances but if they can hold differing opinions and still respect those around them they are the type of people this world needs more of.

Depends what kind of education. Public education is known to decrease your ability to access your innate genius. They will have you think knowledge is acquired, built and developed from bottom up, when in fact it is stored in the collective field of consciousness and anyone can learn to access it. Think of Acquired Savant Syndrome where an ordinary person suffers a head injury and they wake up being math geniuses, musical super-talents, masters of arts, hyperpolyglots, etc., obviously not because they learned something from a course book while they were knocked out LOL.

We all have these abilities and anyone with two operational braincells will use one of the many protocols that have been devised to erode the filter that blocks your conscious mind from accessing this infinite field. Think of Jason Padgett, Daniel Tammet, Derek Amato, Stephen Wiltshire etc. Obviously do not go banging your head against the wall, you're not likely to get too far with that, plus it seems that a random head injury only grants you access to only one or two fields, whereas programs like the Accelerated Cognitive Human Evolution Protocol will enhance all your skills and abilities simultaneously.

So in short, if your education involves things like targeted courses that improve your creativity or your memory, or develops savant-like skills, or teaches you how to access the collective sea of consciousness (Edgar Cayce called it the Akashic Records) then yes. However if it is a public brainwashing programme that you bought into, I'm unimpressed and will assume you lack critical thinking. Why would you waste your time with something like that?

Especially since these prepare you for jobs that will be done exclusively by AI Anyway. You better develop skill that AI cannot compete with. AI has a limited processing speed. Humans have insight. When you develop savant skills and you are asked what the square root of 393,129 is, you do not calculate. You "know" the answer. It takes more time to utter the answer than it takes for it to appear on a screen but you know the answer before AI the computer does. You don't just "know" the answer, the answer is alive. You see it as a shape, with its own unique color. A computer will never see it that way. They are cold and calculating. You are a human.

Develop your own skills and abilities. Find the truth behind the façade. Where in public schools do they teach you that?

If they tell me they are educated in a particular field then I will assume I can talk about high level topics in that field with them. If they can't handle it, then I know they are a moron. If someone tells me they aren't educated, I won't subject them to a barrage of high level conversation, until they have shown me they know something in a particular area of study. If they aren't formally educated, but they know their stuff, then I will conclude that they are relatively smart to pick up on complex topics without assistance. They are a self starter and able to learn independently.

I graduated with honors from law school, so I am accustomed to being around people who are all above-average intelligence. I have dated women who had only a high school degree. Most of them were intimidated by my education and I found that I had far less in common with less educated women. In the last 20 years, I have only dated women who are above average intelligence, and those relationships were more satisfying for me.

A woman who did not finish high school COULD be extremely intelligent, but it is not very likely, so if I was dating now, I would stay away from such a woman unless I knew something about her to suggest that she was intelligent.

Some people are self educated. They are smart, do research, read books and have broader knowledge than people whose knowledge is confined to certain fields.

My older sister would always say that kind of shit until I went to college and got better grades than her. I took Law which was harder than any classes she took. I think higher education is very valuable, but if the person has a bad personality or has anger management issues, then they are worthless to me, and I would then, not care how many PhDs or MDs they have. I used to try to be friends with those that were upper class but when I got yelled at by them, I decided my health and peace of mind is more important than any degree or income bracket or any ability to buy things.
