How long do you think it’s acceptable to wait before a coworker replies to your message on Teams?
I mean a work related message. If you haven’t heard a day or two, isn’t that a little rude? Especially if you know they are available and obviously it would say they have one outstanding message to view right? What gives?

Not sure if there's a rule, but I imagine if it's work related and you're both online, you'd respond within the same day.
So if it was longer than a day would you think it rude?
Not necessarily rude, but not very helpful.
Yeah ok.
Would depend on the nature of the message for me , If I felt the message was just stupid/ silly , then I would just ignore it , if you answer every dam single thing immediately. then you are belittling your own time.
I dont consider anything " rude " , rude , just does not matter if its bs and hinders my time if Im super busy. I'm not saying that this is the case with your message , but giving my answer in context.
If it’s a pure chat solution (and not a full collaboration program) I usually give a first reply within minutes. That doesn’t mean I have the answer within minutes, more a „I am on it“ acknowledgement.
