Is it rude not to acknowledge coworkers?

Basically at work I'm all about working and I won't look at others in the eye really unless they talk to me, won't say hello, etc Of course if they talk to me I won't ignore them... a lot of them act like im weird and they always ask why im so angry... Is this rude or just being about business only

Of course they do. A focused face is angry face rather than purposefully intense. And a fidgety or reactive person when I walk by is an over-the-top A-Hole.
Even worse… this one if he does not lead or is not vibrant on conversation, smile, and direct attentiveness. This person is best described as a Sore Tailed Monkey in a room or rocking 🪑 🐒 🪑.

It's best to acknowledge coworkers so they don't get the wrong perception of you. For years, I was very withdrawn and didn't acknowledge coworkers. They kind of thought I was being angry or rude, but I was really just intimidated and wanted to be as invisible as possible.
