This coworker only focuses on work, hardly socially interacting with anyone. What I've noticed is that I'm the only female he'll say hi or goodbye to whilst passing my office; to other coworkers he'll only do that if he needs to talk to them about work. I approach pretty much anyone because I'm new and he seems pretty receptive, even extending it to offering his help. Last time he was like "what days are you coming? Let's have a meeting on Friday so we can catch up". He's never flirted, or approached me on his own so I assumed he wasn't interested, yet he offers help he doesn't to anyone else. Since he's told me he has a girlfriend, he was just being nice then, right?
