Is my boss being friendly or interested?

My supervisor is very outgoing guy, friendly and approaching, we are same age by the way 24 ,

He's been showing some signs that made me think if he's being more than just being friendly so help me figure it out!

I was not even thinking about him like this until I've noticed him glancing, staring at me a lot.

He sometimes brings his laptop and sits next to my desk and works, and it's so awkward because he comes all the way to sit next to me then doesn't even talk much.

He always smiles big whenever I talk to him or ask him questions,

Every Friday he asks what my weekend plans are, and every Monday he asks what I did on the weekend,

leans into me when we talk, invading my personal space, the other day his face was so close to mine i thought we going to kiss lol

He goes out of his way to help me with unnecessary stuff,

prioritize me over pretty much everything when I ask him for help even when he's really busy,

I've started to notice him more because there's this awkward tension between us.

But he doesn't really ask me any question about my personal stuff though, like if I had a boyfriend, my hobbies,

I'm asking because our company encourages 'employee engagement' they tell the managers to engage with the associates, get to know them more, so I was wondering if this is just him being friendly and me misunderstanding his friendly gesture.

I don't really know much about guys in general so I'm wondering if this is what friendly guys do in general with their female friends/coworkers?
