When did you realize you'll mever be rich? How did you take that?

It's a virtual certainty I will be a millionaire within the next 10 years. But as I approach this I've come to the realization it still won't be enough. I just don't have the motivation to work really hard anymore fight a moving goalpost. How many of you can relate to this?

I never cared about getting rich. There was no realization that I wouldn't get rich because I didn't think along those lines. I was always able to make more than I needed or wanted. Like what the hell did I need a bunch of money for? I knew I needed to save for retirement, so I put any excess in savings, which was most of the money I made.

I have absolutely no use for a bunch of money. I can't even imagine spending more than 30-40K per year. Like what the hell would I spend it on? I could fly around the world a couple of times and spend a couple months in AirBnB and still have plenty left over.

I believe that as long as I am alive there is a chance I could become very rich one day, if not today or even right now. But in my 20s or I came to the conclusion that a life of luxury was incompatible with heaven and I would have to reduce my indulgences if I wanted a relationship with God and go to heaven after I die.

Especially, those financially rewarding ones.

I've attained the financial status I sought after since I first cherished those big bucks I earned early in adulthood.

You act like a million is a lot. You're OLD enough to understand that a million dollars is very obtainable and not even that hard to accomplish given the right conditions.
I don't why you think I'm not telling the truth. Once you're over halfway it pretty much builds on itself. Or do you just have a poor person's mindset? Because that would explain your response. I can understand how if you've never been successful you think it wasn't attainable.
