Have you ever took an attempt to get rich, what happened?

How did you try? What was your idea? Any new ideas?

Not really, I've attempted to make more money twice in my life, both times I had to sacrifice a lot of time and made over 120k a year. If I would have stuck with it I think the trajectory would have been more pay and less time.
My business was also successful when I opened it, but again, the more time I was willing to put in (like it took answering business calls from 7am to 10pm mon-sun) the more I made, when I spent more time with my family and working lazy jobs (like only working 4pm-8pm weekdays, then 7am-4pm weekends) business slacked off.

When I was in high school I was a very good writer and every person who ever read my writing told me I could make massive income as a writer and no matter how much competition I had, I was far better then my competition in the writing department. Now in my 30s my style has changed, I am talented in a different way then I was in my teens.
