What do you think of the fortune reversal from high school to adulthood?

That in middle school and high school, the ones that brag and show off are popular. As adults the arrogant ones are working as janitors and the bullied quiet kids are working as surgeons and investment bankers.

I find that in the upper levels of medicine, admission teams seem to care less about personality and social skills. Reason being, I’ve seem extremely poor speakers get hired as medical professors and I’ve seen very shy and insecure women get hired as surgeons.

What do you think of the fortune reversal from high school to adulthood?
