I'm not having fun in high school at all. I just wanna know it gets better after high school.

High school does not matter once you graduate, unless you plan on living in the same town and working the same "high school" job. And I feel like anyone who thinks so must be the sh*t in their high school and is lying to make themselves feel better about the fact that their popularity means nothing once they leave.

You might still have some of the same friends, but you'll meet SO MANY new people if you go on to college or a trade school, which I recommend, but even if you go out into the world and move somewhere to get a job that doesn't require a college degree, you meet a lot of new people and those people won't care if you had tons of friends or were a loser, they won't care if you partied, or stayed home every weekend.

I personally hated school. All school really. Not for the classes, I liked the classes. But there were a lot of mean people I had to deal with, I got made fun of in elementary school, middle school, high school, for so much, because I was "too smart" for some "too stupid" for others, too nerdy, too overweight, too ugly, whatever it was. The "friends" I did have weren't really my friends, even they didn't treat me right. I never went out. I never partied. I went to class, got good grades, had a part time job, and was in band. That was my life.

But things got so much better in college. I felt like for the first time I had a good school experience and that I actually fit in with people.

So don't worry about it! Just make the most of what you have now and know that things will get better, you do have something to look forward to.

I didn't have much fun ih high school, either- and I can tell you that it really doesn't matter. I still live in the same smallish town and I occasionally run into people I went to school with. And... nothing. They may say "didnt you go to XYZ High?" and I'll say yes, and they'll say they *thought* they recognized me, and I'll say "uh, okay" and then that's it. So don't worry about people from back then trying to f*** with you in the future, if that is a concern of yours. They won't. We all grow up.

If I used high school as any indication of what my life would be... I would have been really, really wrong. Just totally mistaken. I was weird and surly, I didn't fit in, didn't have many friends... and honestly I am still weird and surly and I don't fit in- but as you get older and you learn to accept yourself more and more, it sort of paves the way for *other* people to accept you, too. I won't say I have tons of friends now because I don't, but I do have a social circle where I'm accepted and even sought out... it's nice. I can do stuff or not do stuff. Point is, HS isn't really much like real life at all. And if it is... I daresay you're doing it wrong!

i looooooooooved high school. I didn't go to any school in United States though. However I know people that had lots of fun in high school. Some people might say high school is the best time of their life, others say college is a better experience. I honestly enjoyed high school so much I pretty much failed my senior year. Now in college I am a good student with high grades but don't really socialize at college much. The few friends I have I met them at college parties but that's about it. I'm a PCP student (parking lot, class, parking lot)

College is easier to be yourself. No pressure from anyone, you do your own thing. High school stays behind. So yeah you get a fresh start after you're done. Hang in there xDD

As long as you don't have a criminal record, no one cares what you have done. They only care who you are and what you do.

P.S. I had a very crappy high school experience and now I'm studying at a university with an extremely well-respected school of psychology with a long and storied history. I have good friends, stimulating classes, great activities and nobody cares if I had the first iPhone when it came out. Enjoy yourself and be yourself. College is when [most] people start to mature. You'll see that starting mostly in the sophomore class. Hang in there!

I hated high school I walked out those doors & never looked back. I do miss a few good friends.

Life gets much better after HS. It is a fresh start. Similar to when you left grade school, more then half of the kids went to different HS's you made new friends.

You have many more options. When you're in high school, you only have a couple options. Graduate or go through the rest of your life, picking garbage for a living like the guy down the street from us does (racist pig he is)

When you get out of H.S. you now have a diploma and can basically do anything that will pay you minimally. You also have the option of going on to getting a better education (college) post sec. etc.. You also can join the armed forces. I highly recommend against that though. You can vote, you can smoke, you just have all these freedoms outside of high school. Social stuff is OK it becomes less cliqueish, but there are still cliques

If you're not having fun, drop out..but as I said, you really don't want to be living off of garbage the rest of your life, trust me!

A LOT of people I know who were unpopular, 'geeky', 'weird', made fun of, etc. in high school have totally different experiences in college. people are different in college. they won't know the kid who peed his pants in the 3rd grade as the kid who peed his pants. you get it? so if this is what you are asking, yes, things will most likely change in college. no one cares what you were like in high school.

just to add-the thing is, you will also have to put in effort to make things change. you want a new group of friends or to get into something new, then go for it. in high school I had a lot of friends just naturally, I didn't really have to work for them, and I am really shy so in college I really haven't met that many people. but the people who were really unpopular in high school and not now, happen to be friendly and outgoing, so they were able to make a lot of new friends

For me high school was the greatest time ever. I mean yeah after high school your older, you can drink, go more places and do more things, but you also have to work and go to school and other things. Now you have all these responsibilities. In high school you have NONE, it's just fun everyday.

Absolutely HS is a fresh start; I find it say that some people found HS to be the end-all-be-all of life lol.

For me, I will admit that college was 100x better 8-)
