Left school then joined Royal Air Force straight away.

There is also an option missing.

a lot of people do not do college, university and get a job, then get a specific degree later on.

Was in college and had to drop out because of medical issues. I had a full time job while I was in school and got two part time jobs on top of the full time job after I left school. Basically worked my life away for a decade and made a lot of money.
