I was a mix of nerd, teachers pet and class clown. But I was also adorably short, friendly and tomboyish so pair that with the big boobs and yea I got along with a lot of the jocks 🤣 They could relate to me in terms of their sporty/gaming interests yet still check me out haha. Girls disliked me cause they thought i wanted their dude. Nah I brozoned 80% of the guys and had them as bodyguard protection from their meanass gfs who tried to jump me for dumb reasons. Despite mutually crushing on many guys, my ex had me on lock for most of the years i was in middle/high school so no guy could ever really approach me romantically anyways. Even when i broke up with him, he called dibbs so his friends and classmates had to tread lightly. It wasn't until like senior year that i finally got involved with dating others

I was more of an overachiever than nerd but ehh same difference
- 10 mo
Yeah I forgot to mention I was a bit of a teachers pet as well! I was friendly to everyone but very quiet and shy so they really didn't get to know me. I wish I had been more social back then but I sure made up for it in college lol
- 10 mo
I was shy yet a talker and a chameleon. I blended in with several groups yet stood out for thinkingg outside the box and going against the grain.
- 10 mo
That's great that you were a talker and a chameleon and that you blended in with several groups yet stood out for thinking outside of the box. I became that in college. Wish I had been that in high school though.

My HS years werent easy tho. The girls made it hard and only the guys and teachers had my back. Only 12th grade was a fabulous year

10 moI didn't quite have a "status" nor was I classified as "one or the other"
I was team captain, but also on top of the class academically, so is not like I was seen as a "nerd" or as a "jock"
I wasn't the "popular kid" nor the "class clown" but I was well known by everyone on the entire school, and also know as someone to be funny (and sarcastic AF) sometimes
also notorious for certain styles and likes, mostly the music... since I used to sing with a garage band back then28 Reply- 10 mo
Oh that's so cool. You were in a garage band! Would have loved to hang out with you. Besides books, music was something that connected me to people in high school.
- 10 mo
it was a covers band, and they literally played in their garage when I joined them... lmao
my best friend was into that too, she would read her books and practice her music almost every single day, after school
and yes... back then, I was one of the few that would be into the less mainstream kind of music - 10 mo
Oh ok cool!
- 10 mo
by the way... what kind of music are you into?
do you like RAMMSTEIN? - 10 mo
Never heard of them sorry. Right now it's mostly 80s classic rock and pop. Been playing a lot of GTA Vice City so I've been listening to a lot of that lately.
- 10 mo
Kate Bush, Tears For Fears, The Cure, The Smiths, Hall and Oates, Journey, Laura Branigan etc.
- 10 mo
oh, that's nice... I have yet to try GTA Vice City, but I played all of Liberty City (GTA 4) and it does have a great soundtrack as well
- 10 mo
I haven't played that one yet but I heard it does have a great soundtrack!
360 opinions shared on Education & Career topic. I started high school (10th grade) in the fall of 1969, the same year as Woodstock. I was a surfer and also lead guitar and vocals in garage bands playing rock music.
I liked the Jimi Hendrix and psychedelic musical artist look.
So I fit in with the surfers, rockers and hippies. I had a car and didn't take school too seriously because I was partying and having fun.30 Reply

"Other" as in "all of the above" since:
1. I was a straight As student throughout high school.
2. I was that popular fashionista who was usually voted to be successful which I now am.
3. I was a formidable athlete who racked up trophies, medals & ribbons.
4. I always masterminded pranks.
5. I was briefly a cheerleader.
6. I was loved by the Teachers.
7. I was the Principal's nightmare because I always supported the student body and Teachers' concerns.

I was a mix of athlete, teachers pet, and nerd (sorta) in that order.
First and foremost I was an athlete. I was that football player who spent more time training than hanging out with friends. I trained so much that college players would come out just to see if they could hold their own.
I was a teacher's pet because I got good grades in classes I enjoyed (English and logic) and would always send out pre-class notes and set up study sessions.
I was a nerd because I loved designing things. If I wasn't training or studying I was almost certainly in the garage cooking up some new idea.
20 Reply I tried to find out what status I had, and still confused.
I'm introverted but I'm not shy, I can say that I was a little bit popular (because I saw popular people and I could say that It's wasn't the same at all, I just noticed people I never talked to or noticed, call me to say hello. Once, I waved to a group of girls because I heard them say my name, they screamed "omg, she waved at us, gosh!!" lol, and tbh, I'm not the one who turn head huh.
but yet I was one of the class clowns, If someone asks "Is she crazy?" You'll hear my friends answer "it's not a question but an evidence" lol and otherwise I am a withdrawn nerd, when I focus, I focus and I shut up,
Still don't know what was my status...🥲

I was the person who went between and was pretty easy with everyone. I had an odd array of extra curricular activities and all of my best friends were male. It was a bit of a pass when it came to teen drama that goes on in schools so I fit in with everyone and nobody bothered me.
10 Reply 2.9K opinions shared on Education & Career topic. I was a loner. I did not have many (any) friends. I did not play any sports or belong to any clubs and my grades were just average. I was just counting the days until I was out of there

Same here though my grades were above average. But I was counting the days until I was out of there as well.
Popular nerd. I blended in with a lot of different cultural groups and was always friends with a lot of team leaders, even a few "jock"/"dance team"/"booster squad" types.
