I currently don't work from, I work as a library assistant. It's not that I wouldn't work from at some point, I just haven't found one yet. However I'm not mad about working where I'm at or working out of the house for now. I can go either way. When I speak to my sister or other people that work from home, they talk to me about everything that's wrong with me not working at home. They make me feel like my job is less than or not as important as theirs. They also express how stupid I am that I don't work from home. Why do SOME (not everyone) people that work from home do this?

Having observed various workplace dynamics, I understand that some individuals might unconsciously feel superior due to perceived flexibility and freedom associated with remote work. These people may lack awareness of how their remarks impact others. It's essential to remember that every work arrangement offers unique benefits and challenges. Your role as a library assistant is incredibly valuable, providing knowledge access and community support. The key is finding fulfillment in what you do, regardless of the setting, and fostering understanding with those who might inadvertently dismiss different work environments.
