Should I be a dentist assistant or esthetician?

I’m 27 and I hope to finish school before 30 or by age 29. I want take a program for either one of these careers but both have my interest and I don't know which one is better. I’m not sure which one pays more. I look online but it’s almost the same salary.

im not sure which one would be an easier job. Which one has more demand of being hired.
Any thoughts?

Well I don't know one you have to constantly look in peoples mouths and the other one you have to look at peoples bodies so chose the one that you're more comfortable with I guess? :) Unless it's not a factor for you at all. I think Dental assistant you probably have more opportunities and it's more respected than esthetician but I don't know you have to decide.

I know that dental offices often have the dentist working on a patient and showing the assistant how to work with dentures, then often let them work on their own on the dentures once they are experienced. Seems like that would pay more and help if you decide to become a dentist later.

I think an Esthetician. There is a huge demand for esthetician services (Botox, Facials. Laser treatments, fillers etc). These services are going to continue to grow as people are going to want tattoo removal more and more and it isn't cheap. Hair removal is also going to continue to grow as men and women won't their hair (pubic) removed.

It depends on what you want to do. If you're going to be in any type of dentistry work, all I can say is you have to have a strong stomach.

Initially I like business and fashion, but I have a clothing store and stopped selling since 3 years now.

I want restart it as a hobby but it cannot be a stable job unless u are famous and have sales daily nonstop.

I find dentist assistant work easy and the workplace small and quiet , relaxed , calm.

I do enjoy beauty , but I’m unsure if the pay is better or the same? Is the demand higher or same?

I don't know but I somehow find Dental Technicians an extremely sexy job. LOL Even though I've never known one only seen them in the dentists and these were older women generally but helping the dentist with their work and I really can't figure why I think this.

Lol yeah, I dk what it is that I find attractive about them. They're not in any way conventionally sexy but sitting there watching you being vulnerable (maybe that's it they are there seeing the worst of me!!) and helping you when you're dribbling all over your face

I’m living in my car but visit my parents on my days off where they live. I plan by the summer rent my own Apt and school will start soon by then
