Should I be a dentist assistant or radiologist technician?

I can’t decide, but I’m 28 and for my future need more money especially if I want 4 kids and a husband.
school starts til summer or winter of 2026 but I can’t make up my mind. I hear dentist assistants make low money but I also hear you need learn do match for a rad tech and I’m horrible at math I get F in math when I was a child in school.

rn I work full time at a clothing warehouse and plan return my online clothing store as a side hobby. I had a side job delivering food as well.

As for the ideal choice depends on your personality, goals, flexibility, physical demands and risk tolerance & it depends on the pay as well. With Dental Assisting it offers faster entry and predictable clinic hours but physical strain. As for a Radiology Tech it provides more advanced imaging, potential for travel, higher pay but involves radiation exposure and hospital settings.

As for counting your chickens before they are hatched I love it. In addition please make sure when you start dating tell your future boyfriend that you want to get married, want four kids & he has to make more money & I guarantee he will be out like a fat kid in dodgeball.

Faith is a wonderful thing however it might have other plans for you.

2026 is right around the corner & as for your future it needs to start now.

Truthfully I think you should be a dental assistant & with that degree you can go anywhere & if you move I think there will be more opportunities for employment.

By the time you are 35 you want to be in a career not job, remember that.

As for you I think you should become a dental assistant & when you are you are going to meet all kinds of people & when you are in school you will do the same. Okay- if you are really serious about this you can go to your local community college and ask to speak to a counselor. They can give you information about both and maybe even suggest something that you have not considered.
