Someone who chooses to ignore their own instincts, preferences, observations, or ideas, in favor of doing what others want or approve of instead.

Nah the population is split up into different categories to help it survive. The 10% that can think are able to watch how the sheep get slaughtered to avoid it.

I think following without thinking is. Following someone with whom one agrees after considering it is not.

Agreeing is not classified as following, as you would do the same without that other's involvement, but diction aside, I agree.
