At school, I am a lifeguard at the athletic center. It is boring af. So, for me, it is just not falling asleep. I can’t even look at my phone.

The issue is, what student that got into a good university that doesn’t know how to swim is going to get in the pool? XD

Find them? I have to keep watch from a high lifeguard chair at all times.

I’d spot them easily and all my throwable rings are right attached to the chair. Plus, I am not the only one on duty at a time.

Getting a call on Friday afternoon from a client who needs something for a trial starting Monday. It usually entails a lot of work from depositions going back five years, sometimes more, and often costs me Friday night and twelve hours or more on Saturday. I charge through the nose for it, but it is still difficult work-wise.

Mentally, the most difficult is helping the wrong party win a case. Sometimes that has to happen for the system as a whole to function, but it can haunt me in my quiet moments.

Dealing with management on the whole and currently the system in this country is SO FUCKED up with new hires being put on higher salaries than those with experience in the job as the notion of retention is alien to the employers AND it's the go to excuse by unions (massive membership) who think "marketisation" will get higher wages for all which is WRONG.
