I did and wish I had kept in touch with more of my classmates. My best friend was the only one I really did keep up with and he passed away to C over 10 years ago so now I only know my brother who attended the same school as I did who's still around though I see a few folk here and there now and again who I recognise but didn't know back then (1980s).
Old school social media pages are good though as some of the names and event the teachers are still part of the clique. It's weird that my brothers PRIMARY school teacher ended up befriending my mother and now they are like buddies in their 70s.
Thanks for the SO @Dat-Alpha-Lion
I was raised in the intensely Democrat NE. Public schools changed when prayer in schools was outlawed in 1962. The difference between high school experience for my older brother and high school experience for me when I was of age. is more dramatic than I can describe. High school was prep school for my brother. High school was prison for me. That's how different it was.
Yes, it was pretty fun on overall but in my last years I got really tired of school and wanted it to end as quickly as possible as I wanted to work and gain money
Despite getting bullied/harassed (if that's what you'd call it) for most of it, I have some nice memories of high school yeah. lol
My high school experience was enriching as it sparked my passion for learning and set the foundation for lifelong education. Engaging teachers and challenging subjects allowed me to develop critical thinking skills. I embraced extracurricular activities that honed leadership qualities and broadened my horizons. These experiences cultivated the discipline and curiosity that later fueled my academic and career pursuits. Overall, my high school years were a crucial stepping stone toward personal and professional growth.

Actually yes I did. Although I wish I would have joined some clubs while I was in high school. In any case I made lots of friends, studied hard and got good grades, and it prepared me for college.
i had an atypical high school experience. I had an atypical school experience period. My dad was military. We moved constantly.
But that aside I think my high school experience was pretty good. Good schools. OK academics. I ran cross country, indoor and outdoor track. I had a bunch of friends. I had a few run ins with assholes. Overall it was a growth experience. Which is what it's supposed to be. No complaints.
Fuck no. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. I’ve never hated anything as much in my life as I did school. It was never fun or pleasant for me. I’m pretty certain I have PTSD from it. I never finished and I’ve never regretted quitting
Immensely !
HS felt like deliverance, liberated from shallowness and stereotypical views, it definitely made me looking at the world in a much better light than previously. Thank you High School, owe you one ! 🤘🏽
Not really, I really did not have many friends , other kids picked on me and girls ignored me. Other than that it wa the best time of my life.
I had a normal high school experience. Go to high school, come home then go to classes, do the homework and then sleep. Just normal life.
It was ok. I had some friends that I hung out with. There was a couple bullies that got under my skin until I knocked one of them out. My grades weren't the best because I hated doing homework, but I passed and graduated with my class
No, unfortunately, my high school experience was quite bad.
No not really coz i was bullied so much not just by others but my own brothers as well
Sorry to hear that. Sounds like you got past that, though, doing good things with your life now.
@AviatorTom thanks honey
N yeah thank goodness I did n doing great now... I m so much confident now compared to that time... n my brothers who bullied me n hated me can't live without me now... thank goodness for that
Yes I did... Thank you.
I had an excellent high school experience. I went from a very shy kid to a confident adult.
You mean, was I captain of the football team? No.😆
That and the prom queen are really the only people who have a good high-school experience. The rest are just doing their time till they graduate.
No. There were some good times but for the most part I didn't socialize much. And my senior year was a disaster due to health issues.
Nope. Couldn't wait to leave high hell.
@Simslover92 do you find it ironic that you ended up working in a library? I find it ironic that i teach.
Lol yes although I'm not working in a library anymore but still it was pretty funny when I was there.
