I knew a guy who came from Singapore and finished mandatory military service, there before majoring in biology at my university, here in Canada, and he told me military service was easier than university because in the military, you have hourly accountability partners to keep you focused and motivated, but in university, you had no accountability partner, and you had to motivate yourself.
