I think it's a double edged sword because it's my only "work" experience I had in years, and also omitting it from my resume would make me unemployed in the fullest sense. Many employers will straight up refuse to hire or even interview someone who hasn't been employed in months or years (or even decades), unless they've been in school or are going through a career change or freelancing.
So far, I actually haven't told any trade employers nor any unions, but I might consider doing it if it can potentially help me get noticed more. My dad is willing to refer me to some companies that offer jobs in the trades, though not sure if it'll be a double edged sword for those too. I'm actually also considering to outsource manufacturing and/or logistics to those very same companies in the future lol.
