Why is the head of my union bargaining committee avoiding eye contact with me?

We are currently negotiating our union contract with the janitorial company I work for and the union rep that is speaking on our behalf avoids eye contact with me and only me as much as possible. Why?

More info: I am the youngest person on the committee this man is 6 years older than me and is married. Did I do something to upset him? I'm very outspoken and he does listen to me and takes my word into consideration. But he most definitely just avoids looking at me or speaking to me as much as possible and I'm kinda concerned and slightly offended by it lol
