Yes, I grew up in a blue collar family on Air Force bases all over the planet. 7 Schools K-12. I spent 15 years as a ground pounder and US Army officer. But I also managed a BS in finance and accounting and an MBA. A career in Fortune 100. A heavy industrial startup from a muddy patch of ground. A career in private equity and hedge funds. And my own consulting firm. I'm not gonna be an idiot and say I did it all myself. I benefitted from countless mentors and teachers. But it has been a constant struggle that I wouldn't change a day of.
